Electronic Mailing Lists

To help improve communications and to provide an ongoing means of communication between club members we have started our own electronic mailing lists. If you haven't got email then this is just one more reason to get it! For those of you that have, and this is now the majority of members, a mailing list is a discussion list using email. You join it by subscribing, but it won't cost you a cent.

We have set up some mailing lists for your use. Please read the descriptions of each, and use the one more appropriate for your message.
 

  • help@appleusers.co.nz

    • This is a public mailing list which is intended to be used by anyone to seek help on any subject related to using their Macintosh computer, or the software on it

    To subscribe to the "help" list, just send an empty email to:

    help-subscribe@appleusers.co.nz or

    help-digest-subscribe@appleusers.co.nz

    To unsubscribe from the "help" list, just send an empty email from the email address to:

    help-unsubscribe@appleusers.co.nz or

    help-digest-unsubscribe@appleusers.co.nz

    You will then receive a confirmation request to which you should just reply.
     

  • augc@appleusers.co.nz

    • This mailing list is for members of Apple User Group of Canterbury Inc. only. It is for general discussion.

    To subscribe to the "augc" list, just send an empty email to:

    augc-subscribe@appleusers.co.nz or

    augc-digest-subscribe@appleusers.co.nz

    To unsubscribe from the "augc" list, just send an empty email from the email address to:

    augc-unsubscribe@appleusers.co.nz or

    augc-digest-unsubscribe@appleusers.co.nz

    Your request will be forwarded to the list administrator for approval before the change is made.

    • This mailing list is for the Apple User Group of Canterbury Inc. Executive to send notices to all members. All members are automatically members of this list. Postings will be kept to a minimium to avoid inconvenience to members.

    • This mailing list is for messages to the Committee of Apple User Group of Canterbury Inc. only. If you have an idea, a meeting or SIG suggestion or concern, please let us know.
